These three guys came to visit in last two weeks.

The duck just landed one morning.
The cat is okay, we’re pretty cool with each other.
Bunnies came in two. They are too cute and I’m a bit biased about their intelligence. Because of this combination, I feel furious around them and have the urge to cuddle them up to point of their splattering. But we are finding a way to each other, as they seem to be whimsical, exactly the way only the animals can.

Around Blankenese

Elbstrand Break at Falkenstein. At a beach pub, which has Stiegl beer (piece of Austria here feels like being closer home). Matjes Filet

Flohschanze & Maritime Museum

Saturday flea market at Schanzenviertel (Flohschanze)Maritime Museum. Expect ships. Shiploads of ships. But also some bits about history of models.Plan of Teufelsbrück. Residential area on the nothern bank, ports on the southern. All you want to do is sunbathe by the North Sea.

Alster & Blankenese

Alster (river) with Heinrich-Hertz-Turm (Fernsehturm) in the background.

Our bikes at Alster Perle.Damn wind!I love that sign with the tree. Obligatory beer photo, this time at Karolinenviertel.Back in Blankenese.  It’s difficult to capture the cosiness of the area. Also, being a bit cautious about taking out a camera, as you practically see in to people’s kitchens and living rooms when walking the stairs.
